By installing the AmberDetect browser extension, accessing the AmberDetect dashboard, or using any AmberDetect service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and AmberDetect ("we", "us", or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 16.
AmberDetect is an AI-powered comment management tool for YouTube and TikTok creators. The Service:
The Service is a tool to assist your decision-making. It does not automatically take moderation actions on your behalf unless you explicitly initiate them.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Extension and at least 16 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create a Dashboard account. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
The Extension can be used without an account. Dashboard features require signing in with a Google account via OAuth 2.0. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any devices linked to AmberDetect. You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, exhibit abusive usage patterns, or are used for purposes that interfere with the Service.
AmberDetect's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you choose to connect your YouTube account through the Dashboard, you grant AmberDetect permission to:
We access only the YouTube Data API scopes you authorize. We never post comments on your behalf, modify your videos, or access channels you do not own. You can revoke YouTube access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

Important: AmberDetect's AI classifications are probabilistic assessments, not definitive judgments. The Service may produce false positives (flagging safe comments) or false negatives (missing harmful comments).
Detection results are informational tools to assist human decision-making. You acknowledge and agree that:
Warning: Deleted YouTube comments cannot be recovered. This is a YouTube platform limitation, not an AmberDetect limitation. Once you confirm a delete action, it is permanent and irreversible.
When you use AmberDetect's moderation features (delete, hold, publish, reject, mark as spam), you acknowledge:
The free tier provides limited monthly scan quota. When your quota is exhausted, detection features will stop working until the next billing cycle. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with reasonable notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Subscription prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Dashboard billing page or Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@amberdetect.com within 14 days of a charge for refund requests.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it applies.
AmberDetect, its name, logo, user interface, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. The Extension source code is licensed under the MIT License.
You retain all ownership rights to your YouTube content, comments, and channel data. We claim no ownership over any content you create, analyze, or moderate using the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Specifically, we do not warrant that:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AmberDetect, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
By you: You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Extension and/or deleting your Dashboard account (via Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone). Account deletion removes your user data from our systems, including any stored YouTube OAuth tokens. We recommend also revoking AmberDetect's access via Google Account Permissions to ensure all tokens are invalidated.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. In urgent cases (security threats, legal requirements), we may act immediately.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes (e.g., changes to liability, billing, or data practices), we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice by email or by prominent notice within the Service.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of the Slovak Republic shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
